TLDR: Nike pays tribute to Coach Prime and the Buffaloes with the Nike Air DT Max 96 ‘Colorado Home’: black suede, gold details and a legendary retro vibe. The release is scheduled for 2 September at a price of €170. Just in time for the start of the new football season, Nike is bringing back Deion Sanders' signature sneaker – this time in a ‘Colorado Home’ look. The Nike Air DT Max 96 pays tribute to Sanders' role as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes while celebrating the comeback of the iconic 90s model in its signature black and Vegas gold colour combination.
The upper is made of black suede with striking cut-outs that reveal layers of gold underneath – like grass breaking through the turf sole. The iconic midfoot strap is there, as is the ‘Diamond Turf’ graphic on the sockliner and, of course, the legendary retro shape. As a special highlight, Coach Prime's face has been printed on the sole.
