The entire sneaker community is still eagerly awaiting the high-profile collaborations designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the AF1. Until then, the popular Nike Air Force 1 continues to appear in compelling solo releases. Now, the icon is released in a very special special edition as part of the anniversary, which has been inspired by the fiery colours of a chilli pepper.

The base and the heel element of the special edition come in a velvety suede that presents a light colour gradient of dark orange and red. The overlays, Swooshes, tongues, laces, and soles, however, show off the yellowish "lemon wash".

A small, embroidered chilli pepper has also been placed on the rear outer side, while a graphic can also be found on the inner soles. The inner lining and the inside of the tongue also bring the colour of the stalk into play with a light green.

The toe tags feature black Nike branding, while orange "Anniversary Edition" lettering underneath refers to the anniversary release. The last special feature is the soles, which have been sprayed with a bright red colour.
