Nike has taken a big step forward with the Space Hippie initiative and sustainability, and this includes, above all, the actual basis for it. The Crater Foam has a rough sole and consists of a mixture of (at least) 15% Nike Grind Rubber and other Nike foams, which all look really great.

The recycled materials used by the brand with the Swoosh help reduce CO2 emissions, as there is virtually no need to produce new material for the individual elements. In addition, the material mix creates a completely new look and unique texture. With these in mind, we could even very well imagine other silhouettes.

Nike Air Force 1 Crater White Release Info

After Nike has already released some options with the recycled materials, the next one is the Nike Air Force 1 with reusable features. For the first iterations, the Beaverton-based brand chooses a clean white leather base with contrasting metallic silver Swooshes.

Further down, Nike uses recycled rubber to replace the traditional white outsole. A white/grey silkscreen print on the tongue and heel is similar to the style, with laser orange accents rounding off the overall design.
