Next to the many Dunks, Air Jordan 1 Mids, Air Max models, and other silhouettes, the Nike Air Force 1 moved further and further into the background. Yet the many models offer a good base for new and modern colourways. Now, the Pixel, Crafts, and other sneakers return with a loud bang for the new season.

Next year, the Nike Air Force 1 will be 40 years old. Presumably, Nike is already planning the big celebration for the old classic, but before we blow out the candles on the cake, let's take a look at a new model that draws on the DNA of the AF1.

Actually, there is already a silhouette called the "Fontanka". The women's exclusive Nike Fontanka Edge debuted a few weeks ago, but this proposal references the 1982 classic. Instead of a chunky ZoomX cushioning, the Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka uses a narrow React cushioning. Also quite crazy are the soles because underneath, you can see a slight shift in the elements, and the eyestays take a cue from the layered look.
