Nike has completely turned the classic wear-away principle on its head. The ‘Dirty Triple White’ starts with a deliberately dirty look – including stains on the collar, frayed eyelets, visible used details and loose threads under the Swoosh. However, hidden beneath the top layer is a clean, classic Triple White Air Force 1.

The upper is coated with a special, removable coating. Regular wear – or the enclosed toothbrush – removes the ‘dirty’ surface, gradually revealing a fresh version of the AF1. A creative statement between sneaker culture, patina aesthetics and .SWOOSH storytelling.

Typical AF1 elements remain: a sturdy cupsole, perforated toe box and classic white-on-white finish under the outer layer. .SWOOSH details can be found on the Dubrae, heel and sockliner, among other places. A ‘Dirty Triple Black’ counterpart with a similar concept will also be released at the same time.
