With the Air Force 1 Low ‘Made in Italy’ pack, Nike is taking an unusually luxurious approach, transforming the streetwear classic into a genuine high-end product. Instead of classic mass production, the focus here is on Italian craftsmanship.

The highlight is the upper: crafted from a single piece of Italian leather, the shoe combines several textures in a seamless transition. Patent leather in the toe box, smooth leather on the sides and textured crocodile-effect elements on the heel create a particularly sophisticated look. The Swoosh is subtly debossed rather than applied, further emphasising the clean aesthetic.

The colourway is deliberately understated and comes in two versions: Black/Iron Grey and College Grey/Vast Grey/Sail. Both opt for tonal elegance rather than eye-catching colours – in keeping with the premium standard.

In addition to the materials, it is above all the extremely limited availability that makes this release special: only 800 pairs per colourway are available. Combined with the high price tag, this AF1 is clearly positioned in the luxury segment.
