Although we will not be able to watch the Olympic Games this year due to the pandemic, we will still get to see major sporting goods manufacturers like Nike and their sneakers as well as other apparel created for the competition in celebration of the said event.

These include the newly designed Nike Bruin React or the Nyjah Free 2, which run under the sub-label SB and provide moral support for the Tokyo team. Now that Nike has already shown respect to Australia and Tokyo, we'll look at the other thematic editions, such as the inspiration coming from Nigeria.

We'll see the newly introduced colours on a Nike Air Presto, Air Max 95, and Air Force 1 React D/MS/X.

Nike has more than nailed the theme-related colours. A well-thought-out pattern and alternating shades of green adorn the sneakers and pay tribute to the country. Before that, we have already seen the colourway on the Nike Zoom Freak 2 and Air Max 95.

Apparently, the patterns alternate in the silhouettes. This AF1 has different geometric shapes on the mudguard. Even the tongue tags have changed as "Naija" decorates the patches. But the insoles still refer to Nike's themed pack.
