As part of these celebrations, Nike has now announced a brand-new Air Force 1 React, which significantly modifies the familiar design while continuing to impress us with its extremely comfortable cushioning technology.

The most obvious change of the new Air Force 1 is definitely the split of the design. The front half uses a grey leather look, which is only complemented by a small Swoosh on the outside. The laces, as well as the eyelets, also fall back on the clean aesthetic, with minimal colour accents applied to some holes. The back and front parts are connected on the inside by an overlapping TPU element, while the outside features a clean cut.

The back part of the sneaker uses a fine mesh structure, and the soles are also transparent. Regular leather is used on the Swoosh, with the logo highlighted by a layer underneath. In the heel area, there is also a raised loop. To live up to the indescribable comfort of the predecessor, the modified version uses a padded shoe tongue as well as the already familiar React foam panel.

The "Mint Foam" colourway flaunts a mint-green sole at the rear, while the mesh upper has also been given different green-greyish hues. The outlines on the black Swoosh and collar come in a light grey, while the connecting TPU element is green, and the inner lining is light grey. The inner soles also come with a mint-green paint job.
