Has anyone else noticed that Nike has neglected the Air Max 1 a bit? But there is, of course, a reason for that. Nike is making room on the shelves for the Nike Air Max 90, which is making its 30th anniversary debut this year and the Nike Air Max 95, which is turning 25 years old this year.

But the Air Max series does not ever lose sight of its roots. Therefore Nike again offers a great pack, which is currently filled with two Air Max 1s.

In the City Pack, we find two completely different Nike Air Max 1s: a London colourway and an Amsterdam one. Both iterations seem to be an allusion to the overall atmosphere of the respective city.

The "London" has a rather subdued colour scheme, which probably points to the cloudy climate. Different shades of grey and blue pile up on the Air Max 1, while an LDN tongue tag and the Thames on the heel round off the entire metropolis-themed design.

The Amsterdam, on the other hand, appears a bit more subtle and quite elegant. The fine leather and high-quality toe box are dyed in various grey and brown tones. However, this edition does not have a special tongue tag. Instead, you can see the outlines of the Amsterdam channels on the heels.
