Every year, we celebrate Nike's Air Max Day, when the sports giant celebrates its innovative cushioning technology. Nike releases exciting and great sneakers throughout the month, and the biggest highlight follows on March 16th (the actual Air Max Day).

In addition to the highly anticipated revival of the Air Max 90 "Bacon", the Swoosh will also release other impressive iterations. These include other Air Max sneakers, such as this Air Max 1 "Evolution Of Icons" that really calls for some celebration.

While both sides feature predominantly white leather, the contrasting details and historically inspired embellishments are presented in an asymmetrical colourway. The first thing we notice are the red eyestays, obviously taken from the iconic Nike Air Max 90 "Infrared", while two toe boxes are split between stitching from the Air Max Plus on the right side and the Air Max 98 on the left.

Other updates are found on the logos. The tongue tags alternate between the AM Plus and the Air Max 97, while mismatched heels with a "3.26" refer to what is perhaps the most important day of the year.

Each Swoosh is then again presented in a different shade, reflecting the Air Max 93 "Menthol" on the left, the Air Max 95 "Neon" in the middle, and the Air Max 180 "Ultramarine" on the right.
