Nike Air Max 90 "Photon Dust/Blue"

TLDR: Nike is bringing back the Air Max 90 in summer 2026 in two eye-catching new colourways. ‘Photo Blue/Cyber’ and ‘Cool Grey/Infrared 23’ combine classic running DNA with fresh Y2K vibes and striking contrasting colours.

The Air Max 90 remains one of Nike’s most important classics in 2026. For the new summer collection, Nike is focusing less on major material experiments and more on bold colour-blocking concepts with striking accent colours.

The “Photo Blue/Cyber” in particular immediately catches the eye. Grey mesh and suede layers form the base, whilst bright Cyber Swooshes and bold blue details on the eyelets, heel and midsole create the typical futuristic Air Max look. For many fans, the wave-like details are even slightly reminiscent of the popular Patta Air Max collabs.

The second colourway, “Cool Grey/Infrared 23”, remains a little cleaner but also features strong contrasts. White and grey layers meet bold infrared Swooshes and light blue accents in the heel area. Both versions naturally retain the classic Air Max 90 elements — visible Air window, layered upper and the iconic running silhouette.

At the same time, Nike continues to work on special Air Max projects such as the “NY vs NY” pack, which is also currently attracting initial attention. Air Max Month will therefore remain packed with new releases in 2026.
