For the 30th anniversary of the classic, Nike combines an almost completely black upper with bright blue accents and retro vibes. All info as always at Grailify! For the big 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, Nike has opted for a successful combination of retro aesthetics and modern colour accents. With the ‘Baltic Blue’ colourway, the iconic design from 1995 gets a powerful update - for the whole family.
The upper is largely made of black mesh, ripstop and smooth leather, which emphasises the classic wave structure of the model. Eye-catching contrasts in Baltic Blue provide highlights: be it on the eyelets, the air branding, the air units or the side centre wave. Particularly cool: The adult sizes feature the so-called ‘bubble seam’ - a visible seam above the Air Units that is reminiscent of the OG models. This detail is missing on the GS version.
As usual, the Air Max 95 OG ‘Baltic Blue’ comes with visible Air elements in the forefoot and heel area, which provide first-class cushioning. The black midsole/outsole mix provides the necessary grip and harmoniously rounds off the dark look. A small touch of pearl grey and reflective details on the tongue and heel underline the sporty character.
