With the Air Max 95 ‘I-95’, Nike is putting the spotlight on a movement that has grown along Interstate 95 from Baltimore to New York. The street bike scene stands for freedom, community and self-confidence – values that are reflected in the design of this model. The sneaker is part of the upcoming ‘Family Reunion’ or ‘City Pack’ and gets a particularly durable reinterpretation.

Visually, the pair remains uncompromising: a dominant all-black look with different textures adds depth without being loud. Instead of classic lace loops, striking metal D-ring eyelets and hiking-inspired lace hooks are used, giving the shoe a functional, almost boot-like character. Moulded TPU, durable mesh and synthetic overlays make the upper significantly more robust than traditional versions.

The 95 also stays true to its line underfoot. Big Bubble cushioning provides the typical Air Max comfort, while a dark midsole and tinted Air elements round off the stealthy look. Subtle ‘95’ details on the tongue and insole add additional accents.
