Nike continues to evolve the Air Max 95, delivering one of the most modern interpretations of the iconic silhouette in years with the new Big Bubble Tech. Instead of the classic suede layers, the ‘Tech’ version features futuristic materials, transparent elements and a significantly more technical look.

The “Steam” colourway combines dark Medium Ash and Wolf Grey tones with striking green accents that lend the trainer extra energy. Particularly striking are the new semi-transparent TPU overlays on the sides, which reinterpret the typical waves of the Air Max 95 and give the upper significantly more depth.

Nike is also breaking new ground in the toe and mudguard areas. Here, textured, almost rubberised materials are used, making the trainer appear more robust and, at the same time, significantly more futuristic. The whole look is complemented by metallic silver details on the tongue and heel, as well as extended lace loops in “Steam” green.

Of course, the classic Big Bubble cushioning remains. The visible Air elements continue to ensure exceptional comfort whilst giving the trainer its characteristic aggressive stance. Fans of techwear, gorpcore and modern running silhouettes in particular are sure to get their money’s worth here.
