TLDR: The Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ returns on 5 March 2026. Featuring big bubble tooling, a grey gradient upper and iconic neon accents, this classic will retail for €190. The Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ is one of the most legendary Air Max colourways of all time – and in 2026, the classic will make another big comeback. Following a rather limited release in 2025, a much wider release will now follow.
Visually, the sneaker remains true to the original. The upper combines different materials in a typical grey gradient that runs from light to dark. These wave-shaped panels are inspired by the human body: the outsole symbolises the spine, the side layers represent muscles and the lacing represents ribs.
Neon yellow adds targeted highlights to the lace loops, the mini Swoosh and the visible Air elements. Together with the black midsole, this creates the contrast that has made the ‘Neon’ so iconic since the 90s.
Technically, the Air Max 95 also remains true to its concept. Visible Max Air elements provide comfortable cushioning at low weight, while flex grooves in the sole allow for additional freedom of movement. The multi-layered mix of textile and synthetic leather ensures stability and the characteristic layered look.
The release is also part of a larger ‘Neon’ series around Air Max Day. In addition to the Air Max 95, the Air Max 90, Air Max Plus and Air Max TL 2.5 will also be released in the same iconic colour palette.
