With the comeback of the Nike Air Max 95 ‘Olympic,’ Nike is bringing back an absolute fan favourite – and for the first time ever as a retro. Originally designed for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, the colourway fully embraces the iconic five-colour theme: the side panels and lace loops feature the colours of the Olympic rings – blue, yellow, black, green and red – on a clean white leather and mesh upper.

Special details such as the gold Air Max badge on the tongue, a gold mini Swoosh on the heel and references to the Greek flag underline the historical connection to the host city of Athens. Technically, Nike remains true to the original version: the ‘Big Bubble’ Air unit with stitching is the same as the 2004 original, before Nike later switched to a more environmentally friendly solution.
