TLDR: The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble ‘Woven’ gives the legendary trainer a creative update with woven multicoloured straps and Footscape-inspired details. Despite its experimental look, the classic Air Max 95 DNA remains intact. It releases on 12 June for €200. Nike continues to celebrate the Air Max 95 with exciting reinterpretations even after its 30th anniversary. The new Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble ‘Woven’ picks up on a concept fans will recognise from earlier Woven versions, combining the iconic silhouette with design elements from the Nike Air Footscape.
The most striking feature is the colourful, woven nylon straps that run through the Air Max 95’s signature wave panels. Neon colours such as yellow, pink, orange and green create strong contrasts and evoke the energetic running designs of the 90s. Some of the straps merge directly into the lace loops, giving the trainer a particularly technical look.
The base, however, remains comparatively classic. Grey suede panels run in the typical Air Max 95 gradient from light grey to charcoal, whilst white mesh in the upper section provides a clean contrast. Purple details on the Swoosh, tongue branding and the visible Air elements round off the colourway.
