Following the big 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 and the comeback of the legendary ‘Neon’ OG Big Bubble, Nike is following up in 2026. In addition to retro releases and special colourways, the classic is now getting an eye-catching twist: the Air Max 95 ‘Paisley Bandana’.

The iconic ‘Neon’ blocking remains the basis. A black midsole, dark toe, white tongue setup and the typical neon accents on the lace loops, mini Swoosh and visible Air units immediately create OG vibes. Anyone familiar with the 95 will recognise its DNA at first glance.

The big difference lies in the side panels: instead of the classic grey gradient, multicoloured paisley stripes run across the upper. From black to blue and green to red, the result is a stacked look that is strongly reminiscent of bandana patterns. Nike is thus picking up on a trend that already caused a stir in the early 2020s with Dunks, Blazers and Air Force 1s – but here it is implemented in a much bolder way.

Additional details such as a slightly off-white tongue and lace finish add a subtle vintage touch. The toe features some ripstop elements, but remains true to the OG shape overall. Despite the eye-catching pattern, the technical, anatomically inspired structure of the 95 remains clearly recognisable.

The ‘Paisley Bandana’ is definitely not for minimalists – but that's exactly what makes it exciting. For those who celebrate the classic ‘neon’ setup but still want something experimental, this release is a real hit.
