To mark the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, Nike is bringing together two legendary chapters from its own history. The Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Scorpion” draws inspiration from the iconic Scorpion KO era surrounding the 2002 World Cup and combines it with one of the most popular Air Max silhouettes of all time.

Visually, the design is dominated by an all-black upper, crafted from a high-quality blend of mesh, suede, nubuck, patent leather and carbon-fibre-like elements. The various materials lend the characteristic side waves extra depth and create a particularly sophisticated look. Bold Gamma Blue accents on the tongue, laces, lace loops and the visible Air elements create striking contrasts and are reminiscent of the fluorescent colours of the Scorpion logo from the legendary advertising campaign.

Another highlight is the redesigned Big Bubble sole. The enlarged Air elements are inspired by early Visible Air prototypes and not only create a more striking look but also provide even more cushioning and comfort for everyday wear. Small Scorpion graphics on the outsole and in the heel area subtly echo the theme, whilst reflective details and silver accents round off the premium look.
