Even after the official 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, Nike remains creative. The ‘Seongsu’ or “211” is a special edition that is part of the upcoming ‘Family Reunion’ pack and draws on regional influences. This pair is dedicated to the Seongsu district in Seoul – a neighbourhood where tradition and modern architecture meet.

Visually, the sneaker features a mix of Photon Dust and Dark Smoke Grey. The layered upper remains true to the DNA of the original, but is reinterpreted with transparent mesh panels and perforated elements. A removable sleeve with laser perforations and reflective details allude to the signature design of the classic AM95. The mini Swoosh on the forefoot adds a modern touch.

A special highlight is the ‘211’ print on the heel. It refers to the station number of the Seongsu Subway Station in Seoul and gives the shoe a clear local significance. Underfoot, the original-inspired Big Bubble design combines retro character with contemporary execution.
