Acid wash and denim have become Nike's most popular details. Several silhouettes have already been refined with the features, and next to be released are a Nike Air Max 97, Dunk High, and Blazer Mid. The shoes use the details in different ways and combine them with a bold hue.

The Nike Air Max 97 "Washed Denim" looks almost patriotic. Red, white, and blue alternate on the upper, with white covering the upper part, blue denim the lower part, and red separating the two components. The same red also marks the branding on the tongues and the lounge tabs as well as the Air unit of the AM97. Finally, a white sole completes the Nike Air Max 97 "Washed Denim".
