TLDR: The Nike Air Max Craze ‘Black/Bright Citrus’ will be launched on 25 April 2025 for 170 euros. The comeback of the cross-trainer from 2001 comes with a neoprene upper, zip fastening and eye-catching citrus accents - exclusively for women. All info as always at Grailify! With the Air Max Craze, Nike is bringing back a real insider tip from the early 2000s. Originally launched in 2001, the cross-training sneaker returns in the eye-catching colour combination ‘Black/Bright Citrus’ - with a design that combines tech aesthetics, retro vibes and modern comfort. After the successful reissue of the Air Max Sunder 2024, its stylistic relative now follows, expanding the line of futuristic Air Max models.
The upper is made from breathable neoprene, which features a printed grid pattern and curved lines for a futuristic look. Instead of classic laces, a zip system is used, which is reminiscent of the Sunder and ensures a sock-like, stable fit. The open slingback heel is particularly striking - a design trend that is currently being played out by many labels.
The white foam midsole houses visible air units in the forefoot and heel area, which not only add retro charm but also provide excellent cushioning for everyday wear. A black rubber sole with bright citrus details provides traction and colour contrast at the same time.
