Nike Air Max Dn8 "Black"

TLDR: At the end of 2025, Nike will launch the Air Max DN8 ‘Black Leather’, a premium version made entirely of black leather with a Dynamic Air system. With the Air Max DN8, Nike opened a new chapter in Air technology at the beginning of 2025: instead of large Air bubbles, the model features eight dynamic Air chambers that sit directly on the outsole and ensure a smooth running experience with every step. Now, the futuristic silhouette is getting a sophisticated finish: the Nike Air Max DN8 ‘Black Leather’ replaces the usual mesh upper with high-quality black leather, giving the shoe a clean, almost tactical look.

Fine perforations in the typical cut-outs ensure breathability, while round rope laces, subtle Air Max logos and a continuous black midsole with visible Air system round off the minimalist design. The look is deliberately reminiscent of classic models such as the Air Max 95, without directly copying it – no coincidence, as an Air Max 95 ‘Black Leather’ in the same colour will be released on the same day.

Thanks to the combination of premium materials, comfort and understatement, the Air Max DN8 ‘Black Leather’ is not only suitable for lifestyle outfits, but also as a subtle alternative for simpler looks.

It will be released on 27 December 2025 at 9:00 a.m. via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers. The RRP is €200, which is €10 more expensive than previous DN8 releases, but it offers a full-grain leather upper.
