Nike has given the Air Max Plus a light, almost laid-back update that’s perfect for the warmer months. The upper is dominated by clean white, whilst “Dusty Cactus” flows gently across the sides and heel, giving the trainer a fresh gradient look.

The familiar TN caging remains, of course, continuing to define the distinctive silhouette. At the same time, the light colours make the shoe appear significantly airier and less aggressive than other colourways. A white Swoosh with a black outline provides a subtle contrast and keeps the design beautifully clean.

Things get a bit bolder on the bottom: a black midsole grounds the look and ensures that the turquoise details around the Air units and the outsole really stand out. It is precisely this mix of a light upper and a dark base that makes the colourway so balanced.

Technically, too, it stays true to the classic: breathable mesh, a sturdy midsole and the visible Air elements deliver the familiar comfort you’d expect from the Air Max Plus.
