Tinker Hatfield, the designer of the model, noticed the following problem during a visit to the gym: Many people have to buy several sports shoes at once, so that they are equipped for the different conditions of their practised sports. That's why Tinker created the Nike Air Trainer in 1987, a sneaker that's still suitable for any situation today.

The legendary cross-training sneaker is a versatile travel companion that has been slightly adapted for today's standards. While details like the updated forefoot strap refer to the original, reflective graphics and the iridescent elements provide a modernised aesthetic and much-needed functionality. Although originally designed as a performance shoe, the comfortable Air cushioning and elevated collar still easily meet the standards of today's sneakers.
The "Coriander" colourway uses many different shades of beige and brown throughout the upper, while silver 3M elements and a grey Swoosh add a little colour variety to the design. Orange laces are used in combination with a strap of the same colour, while at the same time, a yellowed midsole adds a certain vintage look to the silhouette. Minimal light blue accents can be found on individual brandings as well as on the inside of the tongue, which ultimately rounds off the look of the sneaker perfectly.
