Nike Blazer Mid Vintage 77 Cotton Waffle

When you talk about classics, the Nike Blazer clearly belongs way up front. It's one of the sneakers with an extremely long history. Lately, the Blazer has also been the canvas for some great collabs, most notably with Virgil Abloh's Off-White label.

In recent months, the Blazer Mid Vintage jumped through several colours and unique patterns.

2019 was a big year for vintage sneakers. With many new colourways and some very popular collabs, the style was made "cool" once again. For 2020, Nike apparently has some more releases in stock, because some new "vintage" releases with clean colourways are slowly coming out such as the Mid Vintage 77.

One of these new colourways comes not only with a new colour, but also with a fresh texture. Just like the name "Cotton Waffle" suggests, this shoe comes with an upper material whose texture reminds us of exactly that — a waffle. All in all, this shoe is kept pretty clean. The base is completely white and the Swoosh with a metallic silver colour harmonizes well with the upper. The Swoosh comes with edges in a light yellow colour.

Vintage is definitely in again right now! The first releases of the Mid Vintage 77 were a complete success. Where the shoe will be released is still unclear as of now. But, it will probably be a release at several different retailers.
