After trips to Sedona and Flagstaff, Devin Booker brings his Nike Book 1 signature line back home and dedicates the new colourway to his hometown of Phoenix, also known as ‘The Valley of the Sun’. The ‘Valley’ picks up on the colour scheme of the Phoenix Suns and combines it with Booker's typical penchant for vintage aesthetics.
The upper consists of a clean Sail tone, which is broken up by accents in orange and purple - a clear reference to the Suns' team colours. A customised graphic design on the tongue adds an extra storytelling twist, while Booker's back number ‘1’ appears as an embroidered detail on the heel.
The pre-aged midsole is particularly striking, giving the trainers an aged, oxidised look. This not only looks stylish, but also fits perfectly with Booker's passion for vintage.
