The Nike Book 1 ‘Forrest Gump’ is Devin Booker's first signature sneaker and a tribute to the legendary Nike Cortez, which was immortalised by the 1994 film classic ‘Forrest Gump’. Inspired by the famous ‘White/Varsity Red/Varsity Blue’ colourway of the Cortez, the Book 1 combines a clean white upper with eye-catching red accents on the Swoosh, tongue and heel. The blue line on the midsole, typical of the Cortez, has also been adopted.
The trainers are characterised by high-quality details, including a jagged eyestay reminiscent of the Cortez design. At the same time, it offers the modern performance and technology you would expect from a basketball shoe.
