The Dunk Low has become one of the most important models in the sneaker game in recent years and has been released in countless colourways for quite some time now. Nike is by no means resting on its original silhouette, however, and is therefore constantly trying to provide it with creative upgrades. In the spirit of constant progress, we saw the significantly modified Dunk Low Disrupt in 2020, for example, which offered female sneakerheads a chunky design. A full two years later, the Disrupt 2.0 has been announced, which is a little closer to the original but also borrows a few things from the Dunk Low Scrap.

Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Pale Ivory Release Info

The brand-new Disrupt 2.0 is again much closer to the original model and thus discards the clunky look of its predecessor. The upgraded version uses a canvas base, while suede overlays enhance the overall look. The heel area has been given an additional patch that runs once around the entire heel and covers the midsole and the rear elements. Above this is a loop that also comes in suede. The eyelets also have a patch that covers most of the holes on the inside and outside.

The embroidered brandings on the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2.0 look quite edgy and are placed slightly offset on the tongue tags, giving the impression of a production error. The inner soles show off the typical Swoosh pinwheels, referring to the sustainability of the materials used or recycled. For this reason, the typical particles are again found in the material of the midsole and outsole.

Another characteristic feature of the new model are the embroidered Jewel Swooshes on the outer sides. The normal-sized Swooshes are also found among them, but in the Disrupt 2.0 they are only noticeable on the outlines, which are created with the help of stitching. The colour of the stitches differs depending on the outside or inside.

The "Pale Ivory" colourway convinces us with its two-tone look, which is mainly composed of a light grey on the overlays and a white base. The embroidered logos come in a deep black, while the Swooshes are both grey this time. An outsole in the same colour completes the sneaker perfectly.
