In recent years, it seems that Nike has developed a fondness for new silhouettes. The Beaverton-based brand has been experimenting mainly with classic designs.

Most recently, the ladies among us have benefited from the new creations. Nike has released the Air Force 1 Shadow, designed exclusively for women, and has recently added incredible colourways to its range.

But this shouldn't be the last silhouette of Nike as another new sneaker is now at the starting blocks. The brand with the Swoosh has reinterpreted the Dunk Low and created the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt — a silhouette that takes up the influence of basketball shoes in the mid-‘80s.

Nike Dunk Low Disrupt Black Gum Release Info

At first glance, you could mistake the new Disrupt colourway for the celebrated Civilist x Nike SB Dunk Low. A black upper and a white midsole remind us of the drop in August 2020.

The contrast stitching on the upper matches the colour of the exaggerated white midsole, and in other places an exposed tongue and heel tabs on the heel further deviate from the original Dunk. A brown outsole and black insoles then perfectly round off the colourway.
