Nike Dunk Low Disrupt Gym Red Release News

In recent years, it seems that Nike has developed a fondness for new silhouettes. The Beaverton-based brand has been experimenting mainly with classic silhouettes.

Most recently, the ladies among us have benefited from the new creations. Nike has released the Air Force 1 Shadow, designed exclusively for women, and has recently added incredible colourways to its range.

But this shouldn't be the last silhouette of Nike, because now, another new sneaker is at the starting blocks. The brand with the Swoosh has reinterpreted the Dunk Low and created the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt — a silhouette that picks up the influence of basketball shoes in the mid ‘80s.

Nike Dunk Low Disrupt Gym Red Release Info

At the beginning, Nike launches several colourways that make for a brilliant start. A total of four colourways are to be released at the same time, and some of them seem to have been inspired by their predecessors, as they are quite reminiscent of familiar colour schemes.

One of the first colourways is the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt "Gym Red". The model has a white base made of leather and mesh. On the toe box, we see perforations that decorate the edge of the mudguard. "Gym Red" then lacquers the lining and brandings while a blue sole completes the overall design.

The light and red details are slightly reminiscent of Tom Sachs' Mars Yard, with the brown accents missing. The sneakers will drop at Nike and selected retailers.
