Nike Dunk Low Plum release news

Hardly any other country can record as many good releases as Japan. For over 20 years, some of the best sneakers have undoubtedly been released there. In early 2017, when Nike celebrated the anniversary of the Air Max 97, Beaverton released OG colourways, which were only available in Japan.

We see the same thing now with the legendary Dunk. Released in 2001, the package contained three Dunk Low colourways, each of which came to life one after the other. Among these sneakers was the "Plum", which covered the Dunk Low in bright purple and red tones for an unprecedented colour scheme, which will finally have a worldwide release later this year.

"Plum" is by far one of the most versatile colourways that Nike has ever put on a sneaker. The base is made of suede material and has a faded purple tone. The collar, mudguard, and heel are all painted in a darker, stronger purple tone.

The laces and the matching Swoosh as well as the outsole show a darker burgundy. The same colour is also seen on the Air logo and the insole.
