Nike presents a fresh design direction in women's footwear with its new ‘First Sight’ collection. The line combines sporting inspiration with futuristic shapes and is aimed specifically at women who want to combine performance and fashion.

The ‘First Sight Noir’ kicks things off. The silhouette is based on classic track spikes, but reinterprets their shape for everyday wear. The upper consists of a clean, one-piece construction with flowing lines that give the shoe an aerodynamic look. Particularly striking is the wedge-shaped midsole, which is reminiscent of the starting position of sprinters and gives the model a dynamic stance.

Another design highlight is the round recess at the heel. This detail picks up on the spike plates of classic athletics shoes and transforms them into a modern design element. A large, extended Swoosh on the side further emphasises the futuristic character.

The entire ‘First Sight’ collection consists of three models: ‘Noir’, ‘Mirage’ and ‘Shadow’. While “Noir” is strongly inspired by track and field, ‘Mirage’ combines football boot elements with an Oxford style and uses eye-catching cushioning with TPU spikes. The ‘Shadow’, on the other hand, is based on basketball silhouettes from the early 2000s and comes as a striking slip-on.

The ‘Noir’ will be released in a black launch colourway, with other versions such as ‘Light Bone’ to follow. The other two models in the collection are expected to be released in 2026.
