TLDR: On 2 June 2025, Nike is bringing back the Hypervenom Phantom 1 ‘Transform Hydra’ for €250. With a water-activated upper, a reissue of the Hypervenom 3 sole and the iconic NikeSkin with honeycomb structure, the cult silhouette is making a comeback. As always, all the details are available at Grailify! Nike is bringing back one of its most popular football boots of the 2010s and taking it to a new level: the Hypervenom Phantom 1 ‘Transform Hydra’ is more than just a retro model. It combines nostalgic design with innovative technology – including an upper that changes colour when it comes into contact with water.
The NikeSkin upper features a honeycomb structure that not only looks stylish but also provides excellent ball feel in all weather conditions. What makes it special is that when it comes into contact with water, the material reveals a hidden graphic pattern in bold ‘Blue Fury’ – an effect that makes an impression not only on the pitch but also on social media.
A subtle spider graphic print is hidden in the heel area, adding to the Halloween vibe. The eye-catching bright blue sole is taken from the Hypervenom 3, offering improved stability and flexibility as well as optimal traction for quick changes of direction. The asymmetrical lacing system with ACC (All Conditions Control) coating provides additional control.
