Nike Kobe 10 Protro "Halo"

With the Kobe 10 Protro, Nike is launching the next major Protro reissue within the Mamba line. Visually, the trainer remains close to the 2015 original, but under the bonnet, almost everything that’s important for on-court performance has been revamped.

The upper is still made from engineered mesh, but has been redesigned and is now said to be more breathable, flexible and comfortable. At the same time, there’s more space in the forefoot area, along with targeted reinforcements to keep your foot securely in the shoe during sharp cuts and quick changes of direction.

The biggest change lies in the cushioning. The original Lunarlon setup with Zoom Air in the heel has been replaced by Cushlon 3.0 and a full-length Zoom Strobel unit. This is designed to make the Kobe 10 feel more direct, responsive and consistent from heel to forefoot.

The outsole has also been adapted using the latest movement data from athletes, without completely altering the original’s familiar traction design. The carbon fibre wing in the forefoot area also makes a return, providing lateral stability.

The Nike Kobe 10 Protro “Halo” will be released on 23 August 2026.
