With the “Siempre Hermanos” pack, Nike delivers one of the most personal Kobe releases ever. The focus is on the close bond between Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol, which worked not only on the court but also off it. The name “Siempre Hermanos” (always brothers) sums this up perfectly.

The inspiration stems from a specific event: in 2012, Kobe and Pau jointly purchased a racehorse named “Siempre Mio”. It is precisely this moment that forms the basis for the entire design – including subtle Western and equestrian details that run through both models.

Both the Kobe 8 Protro and the Air Force 1 feature high-quality suede materials in warm beige and brown tones. This is complemented by pony hair Swooshes, eye-catching saddle-style contrast stitching and a silver horseshoe dubrae engraved with “Siempre Hermanos”. The Kobe 8 also stands out thanks to its pink-and-blue gradient sole, whilst the AF1 opts for a cleaner, lifestyle-inspired look.

Despite the emotional story, performance remains a key focus: the Kobe 8 Protro brings the familiar performance DNA, whilst the AF1, as a Protro version, gets an upgrade with modern cushioning. Both models complement each other perfectly without looking identical.
