Nike is launching the Mind 002 in early 2026. It's a new performance sneaker. The idea behind it is that sensory stimuli on the soles of the feet can increase cognitive performance.

The ‘Black/Hyper Crimson’ colourway combines a black upper with bright crimson inserts that shimmer through the holes. A chrome-coloured mini Swoosh and a ‘MIND’ badge on the heel add cool futuristic accents. The sole is wave-shaped and the outsole consists of 22 independent, circular foam pods that react individually with every step.

The pods apply targeted pressure to the soles of the feet to stimulate neural activity, says Nike. The aim is to develop a stronger body awareness and increased mental presence during sport or everyday life.
