With the Nike Mind 002, Nike is launching a groundbreaking innovation: a sneaker that specifically supports the interaction between body and mind. The model was developed over a period of ten years by the new Nike Mind Science Department.

The focus is on the sole technology: 22 independent foam pods per shoe react like small pistons to every step. These stimuli specifically stimulate sensory areas in the foot, which, according to Nike, can help improve concentration, focus and mental presence.

The Nike Mind 002 differs from the Mind 001 in its classic sneaker shape. It fixes the foot more firmly to the footbed, thereby enhancing sensory feedback. Visually, the shoe comes in a soothing ‘Light Smoke Grey’ colour, combined with chrome accents and bright Hyper Crimson colour accents on the sole elements. The breathable, perforated upper and clean silhouette are reminiscent of experimental designs from Nike's ISPA or Flow ranges.

The release will take place on Wednesday, 8 January 2026. The price is £140.
