Nike is once again delving deep into its archives and bringing back one of the brand’s most historically significant running silhouettes with the Moon Shoe OG. The model is originally based on the legendary “Moon Shoe” from 1971 – one of the very first Nike runners, known for its iconic Waffle outsole.

The new “Summit White” version embraces classic vintage aesthetics. The upper is crafted from high-quality Summit White leather and is complemented by striking triangular panels on the toe box and heel. This keeps the design simple whilst still providing enough structure and character.

The colourway has a particularly clean look thanks to the subtle contrasts. Cream-coloured Swooshes and laces create a slightly aged look, whilst light grey stabiliser elements on the sides add extra retro charm. The whole look is rounded off by a classic gum sole that perfectly complements the sneaker’s heritage DNA.

The Moon Shoe OG thus fits perfectly into the current low-profile and vintage runner trend, yet remains significantly more authentic than many modern interpretations thanks to its genuine Nike heritage.
