For Spring 2026, Nike is expanding its ‘Year of the Horse’ collection with a real highlight in the running segment: the Pegasus Premium. The choice of silhouette is no coincidence – after all, the model itself bears the name of the winged horse and fits perfectly with the Chinese zodiac sign.

Visually, Nike has opted for a sophisticated, rather subtle design instead of loud explosions of colour. A particularly striking feature is the replacement of the classic heel tab with a wing-shaped element – a clean homage to Pegasus. Added to this are anthracite Swooshes with brogue and paisley-inspired patterns that pick up on horse details. The colours anthracite, sail and pink alternate slightly between the left and right shoes, creating a deliberately mismatched look.

There is also storytelling on the inside: the custom insoles feature open landscapes as a reference to the natural habitat of horses.

Technically, the Pegasus Premium delivers anyway. A full-length Zoom Air unit sits between reactive ZoomX foam layers for an extremely dynamic yet soft ride. The durable outsole is designed for high mileage without compromising the sporty, clean look.
