TLDR: The Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Persian Violet’ combines black and purple suede with striking red details and is inspired by the ACG Terra look. The skate-ready sneaker will be released on 7 October 2025 for €120. As always, all further information is available at Grailify. With the SB Dunk Low ‘Persian Violet’, Nike SB brings the popular ‘ACG Terra’ aesthetic back to the streets – and to the skate park – in a new interpretation. The colour choice is a clear homage to the outdoor icons of the 90s and the SB classics of 2020: The base is made of sturdy black suede, visually enhanced by bright purple overlays in the colour ‘Persian Violet’. Added to this is a cinnamon red leather Swoosh that perfectly harmonises with the laces, tongue label and decorative stitching in the same colour.
While the upper is strongly reminiscent of the 2020 ‘Terra’ SB, the new version features a few subtle adjustments. The yellow contrast of the laces has been replaced by a warm red tone, and the midsole is now a simple black instead of speckled white. Underfoot, a classic gum outsole provides traction and durability.
Small details such as the embroidered ‘Nike’ on the heel and the mix of rough and smooth leather add extra depth to the shoe. Fans of retro outdoor vibes and classic SB releases will get their money's worth here. Overall, the SB Dunk Low ‘Persian Violet’ is a successful example of how Nike reinterprets old successful models in a modern way, but with respect for the original.
