TLDR: On 10 October 2025, Nike will launch the Nike Shox Z, a new women's-exclusive silhouette that combines the Y2K trend with Shox technology and a kitten heel-inspired aesthetic. The shoe will be available in five colourways for €130 via Nike.com and select retailers. The Nike Shox Z combines the retro charm of the early 2000s with a modern, fashion-forward twist. Paying homage to classic Shox models such as the Shox R4, the Shox Z features a sleek silhouette and horizontally stacked Shox cushioning in the forefoot that gently transitions into small columns at the heel. A subtle nod to kitten heels, which are currently making a fashion comeback.
The upper is made of breathable textile with textured side panels and a faux leather racing stripe on the toe box. The sculpted lines are reminiscent of earlier Nike experiments such as the ReactX Rejuven8. Comfort is provided by a responsive foam midsole and the proven Shox suspension. A thin waffle outsole ensures traction.
The Shox Z is available in a total of five colourways, including: – Metallic Silver/Black – Black/University Red – Light Bone/Black – Velvet Brown/Pink – Dark Team Red/Black
