Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor 70 V2

The "The Ten" series by Virgil Abloh, together with Off-White and Nike, was one of the biggest success stories in the sneaker scene in 2017. It was hard to believe how big of a hype was created. We also drew countless L's after the raffles (and 1-2 wins along the way 😀 ). But the fact is that this "Deconstruct" style by Abloh has completely shaken up the sneaker scene in 2017. The highly limited Nike icons in the typical Virgil Abloh style were simply too irresistible.

In 2017's "The Ten" collection, Abloh took 10 popular silhouettes from Nike and completely deconstructed and reinterpreted them. The results are truly unique models, which the reseller prices also confirm.

But 2018 should be even more successful for the collab of the two giants. We already have numerous leaks and images of new releases.

One of these new releases from the collab this year will also be a new Converse. Again, you can see Abloh's influence right away. The designs are all inspired by industrial design, even though this second Chuck looks much "cleaner", and the deconstructed style doesn't come across so strongly in this shoe.

The upper is in classic white, with only the typical Off-White x Nike "Helvetica" branding and the massive orange tag showing no doubt that this is another new design by Virgil Abloh.
