Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Varsity Maize"

Hardly any other collaboration has generated as much hype in recent years as Off-White and Nike. Numerous sneakers have already been released together in the past and basically every single release has generated a huge amount of hype. Now we can soon expect another Air Force 1 Mid, which has been given a Virgil Abloh makeover. 

The brand new Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid features a smooth leather upper and thus differs significantly from the look of its predecessors. The outsole and midsole are another special feature and have been equipped with spikes that are strongly reminiscent of trainers from the ISPA range.

Regular laces are also combined with white Flywire laces, which cross once in the centre to further reinforce the technical look. They also feature the characteristic off-white zip-ties. Further references can be found in the form of the typical lettering on the inside. The air unit in the sole of the shoe has also been exposed, further modifying the classic look of the silhouette.

The "Varsity Maize" colourway uses an eye-catching yellow aesthetic, accentuated by clean colours. For example, the Flywire laces are wrapped in a pure white colour, while the spikes are a bright yellow. The embroidered grim reaper on the rear outer side is also a clean white colour.
