Off-White x Nike Blazer Low White Release News

In keeping with Virgil Abloh's wide-ranging and open approach to sneaker development and modification, the two new Nike x Off-White Blazer Lows are designed to showcase a multi-disciplinary aesthetic. Virgil Abloh was inspired by iconic basketball, skateboarding, and trail-running silhouettes while rummaging through Nike's gigantic archives. Then, he began to see their shapes and features through a whole new set of eyes.

The bright upper of the Off-White x Nike Blazer Low White is made of supple leather, while the mudguard in the "Sail" hue is crafted from canvas. Similar to the Off-White x Nike Air Jordan 5, the sneakers feature translucent TPE circles on the midfoot, forefoot, and heel. These can be cut out at will for a new style. The Swooshes are also wrapped in a bright red.

Cord-like yellow laces also run across the entire upper, reminiscent of the previously released Dunk collab. The modified midsoles also make use of the eye-catching colour and combine it with a bright blue. In addition to the printed laces, the characteristic Off-White prints are also used on the outer sides of the shoe.

The lower part of the sneaker is also heavily modified. At the front, the sole begins in a simple way, but at the heel, things get wild again. A voluminous, two-part cushioning clearly stands out and acts like a spoiler, which has a speckled effect as an additional embellishment.
