For its first collection with One Piece, Nike has reimagined the Air Max Plus through three legendary Devil Fruits. The “Mera Mera” edition represents the powers of the Mera Mera no Mi, which was originally wielded by Portgas D. Ace before eventually being consumed by his sworn brother Sabo.

Nike has developed an exclusive upper specifically for the collaboration. Brilliant Orange and Kumquat establish the fiery foundation, whilst embossed swirls and flame-like structures reference the abilities of the Devil Fruit. Vibrant Yellow and Solar Flare intensify the glowing appearance, with Healing Jade and Enamel Green introducing unexpected contrasts.

The familiar Air Max Plus caging blends into the dynamic design and almost resembles flames moving across the upper. A contrasting Swoosh, colourful midsole details and a redesigned Jolly Roger emblem on the tongue complete the connection to One Piece.

Beneath the exclusive upper, the Air Max Plus retains its classic construction. Visible Air units and Tuned Air technology provide cushioning, whilst the stabilising midfoot section and durable rubber outsole complete the characteristic TN appearance.

When will the One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus “Mera Mera” be released?

The regional release begins on 12 September 2026 through selected retailers. Before that, the trainer is expected to be available at the Tokyo One Piece pop-up from 4 to 6 September. The price is set at 210€.

Where can I buy the One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus “Mera Mera”?

According to the current release information, the “Mera Mera” will only be available through selected retailers in Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Mexico. Announced stores include HBX, Nike Lab PS7, Invincible, Lust, Worksout, Tune, Phantaci and Nike Umeda. A German release or launch through the European SNKRS platform is not currently planned.
