Palace x Nike Cryoshot Air Speed M "England"

TLDR: Palace Skateboards and Nike are launching the Cryoshot Air Speed M, one of the most exciting trainers in the 2026 World Cup collection. The silhouette is based on the legendary Air Speed Mercurial football boot and combines classic boot design with modern lifestyle technology. It releases on 16 June for €200.

Nike is further expanding its extensive World Cup project and, in collaboration with Palace Skateboards, is presenting the English interpretation of the new Cryoshot series. A historic football boot is transformed into a wearable lifestyle trainer without losing its original character.

The Nike Air Speed Mercurial from the late 90s serves as the basis. The black leather upper is reminiscent of classic football boots from past generations, whilst white Swooshes and red accents echo the colours of the England national team. Additional Palace logos on the tongue and side panels provide the typical streetwear touch.

At the heart of the project is Cryoshot technology. This involves integrating the original studs of the football boot into a transparent rubber sole, preserving the boot’s iconic shape whilst creating everyday comfort.

The details are equally impressive. A semi-transparent TPU construction on the sides provides additional support and gives the trainer a futuristic look. The release is complemented by an extensive apparel collection featuring jerseys, varsity jackets, tracksuits and other pieces that celebrate English football culture.

The Palace x Nike Cryoshot Air Speed M is part of Nike’s global World Cup collection, which also features partners such as NOCTA, Patta, Jacquemus, Slawn and other international creatives.
