Parley x adidas Ultra Boost DNA Black

Parley for the Oceans and adidas have been working together for years. The two partners focus their joint spending on plastic garbage located on remote beaches, islands and other coastal areas in order to create full-fledged shoes or apparel.

The garbage is collected and then sent to the respective partners, who in turn shred the garbage and later use it to make the functional polyester yarn. Thus, consumers do not only get a comfortable sneaker, but they also get a chance to support the environmentally friendly products.

Sneakerheads will probably be familiar with this latest edition. In 2016, the two partners gave away 50 pairs of their very first Parley x Ultra Boost shoe via a video contest.

The next two sneakers have a similar aesthetic. In addition to the white version, a dark version will also be released. At the bottom, there is a white Boost sole and a black outsole with nubs from Continental. The strong contrast comes with the dark upper and the wavy green lines, which are all probably made of plastic waste.
