With the Pharrell x adidas Adizero EVO SL Humanrace ‘Mars’, adidas and Pharrell Williams continue their performance offensive, delivering a running trainer that combines function and storytelling. The colourway is clearly inspired by the Red Planet.

Visually, the design is dominated by a mix of earthy red and brown tones reminiscent of Martian dust. The upper is complemented by orange accents on the heel and outsole, whilst black Three Stripes provide contrast. The result is an eye-catching yet wearable look.

Technically, the shoe is based on a modern running setup. The LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole provides soft, responsive cushioning, whilst the engineered mesh upper remains breathable whilst offering support. Unlike pure racing models, the EVO SL does away with stiff elements, making it perfect as a daily trainer.

The concept also goes beyond pure performance: Pharrell positions the trainer as part of a conscious lifestyle focused on movement, balance and routine. To match, matching apparel such as a track jacket and shorts is also being released alongside the trainer.
