The Cortez was developed by Nike co-founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight and originally came out as a track-and-field shoe for the 1972 Olympics. Since then, the Cortez has reached a number of milestones and was the most coveted model from Nike for a while.

The white sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 uses double details in a classic manner, which you can find on the sides as well as on the inside of the shoe. In addition, the base is made of a bright white material that strongly resembles nylon. The overlays, on the other hand, are made of suede, which significantly enhances the look of the sneaker. Red accents can be found on the Swooshes and in the heel area. Blue adorns the inside, the back of the sole, and a single layer of the heel.
